James Goes For An Adventure In The Park

James went with his Daddy out for a walk in the park. First we put some cookies and apple juice into James's Monkey Back Pack, and arranged the blanket so that James would have a very comfortable ride. Later on we would use a blanket for a picnic blanket.


James and I went for an adventure in the park behind the house today.


We had fun.


James remarked that the tree was BIG.


He poked about and found a piece of plastic.


He got up the courage to approach the pipe running under the footbridge.


He seemed pleased that nothing was lurking beneath.


James found a pair of sticks.


He poked about with them.


Then he raced off in all directions.


It seemed important to pull his wagon this way and that.


After a while, he got tired out. We opened a package of mini Oreo cookies, and James snacked.


He thought about the fun he'd just had.


He stood up in his wagon and surveyed his kingdom.


After a while, he decided to run about a bit more.


He found a leaf.


He brought his wagon around the park for more excitement.


He found some tall grass.


Finally it was time to come home, have a bite to eat, and get ready for bed.
