James and the Green Pen
James got some new Crayola pens recently. We've learned that they are best used when he is confined to his high chair.
James played with one, while Dora played on the television. He was very distracted.
He tried to draw on paper, but kept his eyes on Dora's adventures on the television.
He played with the cap mechanism.
And then all of a sudden, he noticed that his hands were covered in green ink.
He put down the pen, and examined his hands with some concern.
And then it struck him. He was COVERED in ink!
Aaaauuuggghhh!!!
He stopped and paused to let it sink it. He would forever be green.
He thought about life as a green little boy. It might actually be fun.
Perhaps he could play with frogs and blend in. Whatever the case, Simon plonked James in the bath, and within moments of getting water on his hands, he was completely clean. The ink comes off totally and easily. But James sure had fun while it lasted!
A Nice Relaxed Sunday
The weather is beginning to improve here in Toronto. The rains came the other day and melted away much of the snow and ice. The days are beginning to get longer. We had a nice Sunday.
James decided to sit in his toy box.
James is slowly learning how to ride his tricycle. Moments later he fell and had a little cry.
Soon James made his way about on his tricycle, his cheek slightly reddened, but unbowed.
The snow has melted, mostly. Soon we'll be out in the park playing.
James's Baba visited and James had lots of fun.
